T.M.G.S. @ Campoamor 6/2/19

A bright and warm day welcomed 40 members and a guest to participate in the third round of our annual Eclectic competition, this year being played at Campoamor. The new green on the 6th hole is now playing well and it’s a little more testing for those of us who knew the old one, it has more subtle undulations in it! Campoamor always looks lush and green and during the cold weather recently, it stands out against other local courses in the area. The unusual configuration of 5 par 3’s and 5 par 5’s should help both with good scores and of course 5 chances to make a “2” and if you include the short par 4 11th  there could be 6 chances to win the €38 alas everyone failed so this will be rolled over to next week at Villamartin, I’m sure it will be won there. Results; N.T.P.’s Hole 4 B. Gillies, hole 6 A. Rickers, hole 10 S. Sonesen, hole 15 NADA, hole 17 J. Nerhus. Best and only guest was O.P. Rovik 24 points. Bronze category; 3rd J. Hillier 32, 2nd K. Krog 32 L/H 1st R. Nilsen 34. Silver category; 3rd L. Jernberg 35, 2nd O. Rong 36, 1st N. P ucacco 37. Gold category; 3rd O. Cederberg 34, 2nd H. Woerdemann 36, 1st J. Nerhus 37.
